Max is a 4 month old Maltese puppy that came over to play with the girls on Tuesday. I had Harmony (Max’s owner) over for lunch and asked her to bring Max along. Since we don’t have any pets, I wanted the girls to get some experience being around a dog. The girls enjoyed Max and liked petting him as long as he was being held by someone, or in his carrying case. It was a beautiful day and we all went out in the back yard to play. Max is a puppy and loves to run. . .the girls love to run also. This presented a bit of a problem because Max would chase after them and they got really scared. After that Naomi and Esther stayed close to me. Max is a good puppy and such a little guy, he just wanted to play. They were sad to see Max leave, and when Naomi woke up from her nap she asked where Max was and if we could get a puppy. =) We had a great time. Thanks for coming over to play!

Wow! It has almost been a month since I last posted. It hasn’t been boring around here, just busy. For a while now I have been wanting to post something about our baby due in March. We do not know what we are having and are excited to find out soon. We didn’t know what we were having with Naomi or Esther, and so we came up with names to call them before they were born. Somehow we got to calling them names from Whinnie the Pooh. We called Naomi “Piglet” and Esther “Tigger”. They have lived up to their names. . . Naomi because she is so petite and small like Piglet, and Esther, because she has so much energy. She loves to bounce like Tigger. Well, this baby has had a few different names, but I finally decided that Roo would fit just fine. Roo is due to arrive in a little over 4 weeks. Naomi is very excited and is convinced Roo is a girl. A few times she has told me she wants me to go to the doctor and get the baby out. Esther has no clue, and I don’t think she will like sharing me with Roo! I will try to keep more up to date and soon I hope to be posting pictures of Roo. Please be praying for me in these last weeks.

Naomi was sad when I took down all the decorations from Christmas. She kept asking “Is Christmas over?, Why are you taking all the stuff down?” Since then she has asked a few times when Christmas is coming again. Well, yesterday Naomi found the drawer full of bibs and decided to decorate with them. She hung them all over her room and then came running to find me “Mommy, come look I decorated for Christmas.” It was so cute. I love her imagination. The girls cleaned it all up before bed last night, but when she did it again today I had to take some pictures. Esther even helped by decorating her crib. When they saw me taking pictures, they wanted to sit by their decorations and get pictures taken too.

Justin has been visiting since the beginning of January, and it has been so nice to have him here. He leaves this week and we will miss him. On Saturday we all went to Waterton Canyon. Justin and Shaun went for a 7.2 mile run (way to go!) and the girls and I had a picnic lunch and then took a walk. The weather here has been beautiful and we had a great time. Later that night Justin offered to watched the girls and sent us out to dinner at the Olive Garden. He set the whole thing up! Flowers and everything! We had such a nice time! Thanks Justin!
