Ethan has two sister’s that like to dress-up. What can I say?

My dad and mom came for a visit to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday. We are so glad you wanted to come here and celebrate with us.

We went on one last camping trip for the season over Labor Day weekend. We left as a family on Thursday and then some of our Sunday School couples joined us on Friday night. The girls love camping! I’m so glad. We had a nice time alone as a family on Thursday night and most of Friday. We all had a nice time of fellowship when the other couples came up. We cooked hot dogs over the fire and later had s’mores. The next morning we had a wonderful breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes before we packed up and headed home.

Last Saturday we took a van full of people to Hanging Lake for a hike. It is a 3 hour drive and we left church at 5:30 in the morning. We got all the way up there only to find that the trail head was closed for maintenance. We were all disappointed, but found another trail and ended up having a great time together.

We went tent camping at the beginning of July (pictures soon to come) in the mountains. It was absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed the many mountain wildflowers, and just had to take pictures of them. They were so unique and different. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
