Two years ago today our sweet Naomi entered our world. What a blessing she has been to us.

We celebrated her birthday this afternoon, since there is church tonight. We are so thankful to have both sets of grandparents and Aunt Amy here to join in the celebration. We missed Uncle Justin. Wish you could have been here. Naomi had a blast! She was the center of attention and she knew it.

Now we are all tired and taking naps, except for Shaun and Amy who had to go to high school graduation practice.

We had a busy week. My parents are here and they have been a huge help with the girls. I have taken a lot of pictures with my new camera (my Mother’s Day present) and wanted to share them. I didn’t want to do different blogs, so here are the highlights from our week. If you click on the pictures they will get bigger. Each one has a caption. Enjoy!

I’ve had a desire for some time to own a piano.  I play piano every other week for Wednesday night prayer meeting and often wish I could practice the songs before hand.  Taking two girls with you to practice the piano at church isn’t very realistic.  Well!  A family in the church was looking to sell their piano.  We looked at it, liked it, and discovered we could buy it!  Praise the Lord!  We are blessed beyond measure!!

Near the end of each school year we have a fun day with the kids.  The girls and I met Shaun and the rest of the school kids and parents at the park for their Parent vs. Kid soccer game.  Here are some pictures of our fun time at the park watching daddy play soccer.

A family in our church was getting rid of their jungle gym and asked if we wanted it for our girls.  We said yes and Shaun picked it up yesterday evening.  Shaun showed Naomi the playground this morning during breakfast and Naomi’s little eyes sparkled with excitement.  Naomi took a couple of turns on the slide in her PJ’s with Shaun before he left.  She’s been asking to go outside ever since!
