Amy watched our girls last night so that we could go to the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship. The girls were so excited to see her, they were giddy. Amy is wonderful with the girls and they love her. She got some great pictures of the girls and I thought I would share them with you.

Esther got her hair put in pigtail for the first time. The nice thing about her hair is that I don’t have to do it. Her hair isn’t that long . She looked so cute, like a little girl. When Naomi was her age, I had to do her hair to keep it out of her face. Here are pictures of Naomi’s first pigtails, and Esther’s first pigtails. What a difference between the two.

Well, today it snowed! So, it finally feels like January. The first two weeks of January had some 60 degree days and the girls got to play outside. They loved it! They like to dig in the dirt of my empty flower bed. Naomi was throwing little handfuls of dirt down the window well, and when Esther discovered how much fun it was she was giggling. It tired them out and they took great naps! One of the days, Esther face planted in the dirt. I was gone and Aunt Amy and Shaun were home. Amy wiped most of the dirt off Esther and brought her in to finish cleaning her. Shaun thought it was so funny he took a picture. I of course heard the story when I came home. Poor Esther! She was sneezing dirt out of her nose. We were thankful for the nice warm days, but I was glad to see the snow this morning.

The Lord graciously allowed us to buy a 2006 Toyota Sienna the day after Christmas. We are so excited and blessed to have this van. It is so nice to have the extra room and works great to get the girls in and out of their car seats. Shaun’s family was still here when we got the van. So, we all took a trip to Colorado Springs for lunch and a drive through Garden of the Gods. It was nice for everyone to fit in the same vehicle.
