Today we celebrated the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We serve a risen Savior! Praise the Lord!

We had a busy Saturday. We made cookies and decorated them with frosting. Then Aunt Amy helped Naomi color some eggs. We were all very tired by the end of the day.

This past week I decided to keep the girls busy with a few crafts. We had a good time together.

Yesterday during nap time the girls were being silly. They would not go to sleep. Naomi was out of bed many times playing with Esther, and I was running up and down stairs all afternoon trying to quiet them down. They were put down for a nap at 1:45 and they did not fall asleep until almost 4:00. Usually they wake up at 4:00. Well, I didn’t want them to sleep that long because then they would not be tired for bedtime. So, I went to wake them up at 4:30. They were very crabby. I gave some books to Esther and cuddled with Naomi for a few minutes. Esther plopped herself down next to the books and promptly fell back to sleep. I wanted to get a picture of Esther sleeping on the floor, so I put Naomi on our bed and went down stairs to get the camera. I got my pictures of Esther, and went to get Naomi. Well, she had fallen back asleep also. I guess they were not ready to be awake so I let them stay asleep until dinner time.

A couple of weeks ago some of us girl got together and went to a pottery place to paint some pottery. It was so much fun. You pick an item, you paint it, and then you leave it at the shop for a week so they can glaze and fire it for you. Everyone did a great job.
