Camping

We went tent camping in the mountains with the Rogers and their neighbors, and had a great time. Michael and ReneĆ© are pros at camping, they have everything to make camping great. There is a lot of dirt and mosquitoes, it gets cold and you don’t sleep the best. You sit around the fire eating, or chasing the kids around to keep them out of the fire and the water, but for some reason it is an adventure being in the beautiful outdoors. Our camp site was wonderful. It was in a grove of pine trees right next to a babbling brook. We loved it, and can’t wait to go again. I have a lot of pictures to share. I can’t take credit for all of them, Michael is a great photographer and he shared his pictures with us. Make sure to click on the pictures to make them bigger. Enjoy!

Cheyenne Frontier Days

We went to the “Daddy of ‘em All” Rodeo in Cheyenne, Wyoming on Saturday. We packed the church van with 6 car seats and 8 adults. It was a great rodeo! There was bull riding, bucking broncos, horse racing, steer roping and wrestling, trick riders, barrel racing and wild horse riding. What a fun day full of adventure. I have a lot of pictures, so enjoy.

Rodeo In The Ranch

We went to a rodeo this past weekend that was right down the street from our house. It was the girls first rodeo. Naomi seemed to enjoy herself, but I think Esther was a little bored. It was very hot, but we had a great time together. We are going to another rodeo on Saturday in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This rodeo is called “Daddy of ‘em All”, and we are looking forward to it.

Tiny Town

We all went to Tiny Town on Monday. It’s a small town in the foothills that is a fun place to visit. We had a nice walk around the town, the girls played on the playground, we had lunch, and then a train ride. A grand time was had by all. =)
