Every year we are blessed to go to a couples retreat. We always have a great time of fellowship with the other couples. My mom and dad were still here and watched the girls for us. It was a nice time away.

My dad and mom came for a visit to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday. We are so glad you wanted to come here and celebrate with us.

We went on one last camping trip for the season over Labor Day weekend. We left as a family on Thursday and then some of our Sunday School couples joined us on Friday night. The girls love camping! I’m so glad. We had a nice time alone as a family on Thursday night and most of Friday. We all had a nice time of fellowship when the other couples came up. We cooked hot dogs over the fire and later had s’mores. The next morning we had a wonderful breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes before we packed up and headed home.

Didn’t I just do a 4 month post? I know I was late doing it, but surely my little man isn’t already 5 months old. Wow! He is such a joy. He has so much energy and is already trying to crawl. Ethan rolls all over the place, and if he really wants something he army crawls to get where he wants. He gets up on his knees and elbows and rocks back and forth trying to get places. He loves his sisters and lights up every time he sees them. We are so thankful for our sweet, healthy little boy.
