My mom is visiting and we took the kids to the aquarium on Tuesday. God’s creation is amazing. There are so many neat things that live in the oceans. We had a great time. There was a Mystic Mermaid show going on while we were there, and of course the girls were awed. Naomi asked me this morning, “Are mermaids real?” I went on to explain that they were not real and that the ones she saw were just girls dressed up pretending to be mermaids. She took it pretty well, but I’m not sure she believes me or really knows what to think about the whole thing.

This past weekend Shaun and I were able to get away and stay at one of our favorite places. It was such a blessing and we had a nice, refreshing time. We didn’t want to leave, and the weather was beautiful. Thanks to Aunt Amy for watching our kids.

We have had some wonderfully warm weather this week. The kids and I enjoyed a nice walk and some playing out in the snow on Tuesday.

Esther takes all the covers off the markers when she colors. She also ends up with marker all over her sleeves and shirt because she leans on the open markers.

But I don’t want to give him one yet. So, we tuck these little curls behind his ear. This is what he looked like after his nap.
