Hark, Daddy! The Angels Sing!
Here’s a video of my girls singing with true Christmas spirit. I particularly enjoy the way Naomi was determined to end the song on a high note. Click the link below or the embedded video. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful Christmas with family, and the girls have been enjoying their spoils since. They got a kitchen set and some great things to go with it. One of the things was a birthday cake set complete with cake, server, candles, plates, and forks. They must have sang “Happy Birthday” to Jesus over a dozen times. It was so precious. We thank the Lord for sending His Son and praise Him for His many blessings.

Last Friday, Naomi and Esther had their own Sunday School Christmas Party. I dressed them up in their Christmas dresses, and tried to get some pictures of them in front of the tree. Then they went to church for their get together. They played, did a craft, ate, and played some more. They seemed to have a nice time and were all excited to show us what they did at the end of the night. Last night was our Sunday School Christmas party. We went over Jonathan and Ruth’s home for appetizers and desserts, then we played a game along with our gift exchange. We have such fun with our class, and had a great night of fellowship.

We went and got our Christmas tree on Friday night, and decorated it on Saturday. It was very cold on Friday, but we bundled up and braved the cold. Before we got our tree we went to a Christmas celebration down the street at the Town Center. There were lights, caroling, reindeer, a small train ride, and various other things. We didn’t stay long because of the cold, but Naomi got to ride the train. Esther wanted nothing to do with the train and wouldn’t get on. By the time we walked across the parking lot to get our tree the girls were very cold and wanted to be done. It’s hard going tree shopping with little ones, but we all survived, and made some great memories.

We had a great Thanksgiving, but missed having family in town. I didn’t take very many pictures, but the girls and I cheered on Shaun as he ran the 5K Turkey Trot. We were able to walk to the corner of our street to watch the race. Shaun did a great job!
