Lakeside park has kiddy rides, and we took the girls to this park last year. Naomi was brave enough to ride all the rides, but Esther only rode a few. This year the girls had a blast together, and they used their own money to purchase tickets for the rides. Their favorite ride was a small roller coaster, I think they rode it at least 4 times. Ethan is still to young, but I think he will have just as much fun next year.

Shaun and I had the opportunity to visit our missionaries, Buddy and Loren Fitzgerald, in Peru. We were to visit them in their jungle ministry, but that didn’t work out, so we met them in the capital city, Lima. We had a nice time of fellowship, and I hope we were an encouragement to them. This was the first missions trip I have ever been on, and it was a great experience. There is so much I could say, but I will let the pictures tell about our time.

I ran another 5K! This was the hardest one I have done so far. I didn’t train very hard, and it was a very hilly course. My friend Ruth and I ran together, and we did good for the first 2 miles, then we started to walk as the hills loomed before us. It was an uphill finish and as we saw our friends and family waiting for us at the finish line we ran the rest of the way. Good job Ruth on your first race! Thanks for running with me.

It was a very hot day and we mostly tried to stay in the shade, but a fun time was had by all.

We went camping again at Crested Butte with the Rogers family. It was gorgeous weather and scenery, and we all had a wonderful time. I only took a few pictures, but Michael took the majority of them. He takes great pictures and I’m excited to share them with you. I love living in Colorado, and these pictures just don’t do the scenery any justice. We serve an amazing God, and we enjoyed His amazing creation.
