We had some friends stay overnight as they were passing through on their way to Glenwood Springs, CO. The Master’s are missionaries and were speaking at one of their supporting churches. Gretchen is a friend of mine and the last time I had seen her was at our wedding. I had never met her husband and daughter, who is exactly 2 weeks older than Esther. We had a nice visit, and were glad to meet the whole family.

Esther keeps us on our toes, and likes to get into things. The other night I went to unload the dishwasher, but got distracted by Naomi having to go potty. When I came back to finish, Esther was there to greet me.
Here are some other cute pictures that I wanted to add. We love our girls and thank the Lord for them.

It is hard to believe that we have been in our house for a year and that Esther is a year old. The reason why I’m having a hard time believing that it is almost November is because of the beautiful weather. It was in the 60’s yesterday and 70’s today. It’s supposed to be in the 70’s for the rest of the week. Wonderful! We will be celebrating Esther’s b-day tonight. So, come back soon. More pictures are coming. =)

A week ago Saturday, Shaun ran in a 5 mile race. It was a cold, misty morning and he didn’t want to run, but he met with friends and they headed to the race together. The girls and I stayed home and slept in. I was proud of Shaun for getting up and going after a late night with our Sunday School class. Well, a couple of hours past and I was wondering where he was. Then he came walking through the door with a big smile on his face and a medal around his neck. He won 3rd place in his age group! I was SO proud of him! I took a picture and wanted to brag on him to all you readers. He truly has been an inspiration to me.
Keep up the good work Shaun! I love you!

On Friday we had our Sunday School class over for some food and fellowship. Almost everything we ate was fried. Someone called our get together a “fry fest”. We had corn dogs, veggies and dip, carmel apples, and dessert. We fried the corn dogs, and most of our dessert. The “fry masters” dipped cheese cake, Snickers, Mars, and Oreos in batter and fried them. Mmm, Mmm Good! After we filled ourselves with food, we had a great time playing games and laughing. Thank you all for coming!
