Making cookies with Naomi.

It snowed all day on Thursday, so we stayed inside and baked. I got to use my new Kitchen Aid mixer twice. It works great! Naomi had fun making cut out cookies. I think playing with the dough and flour was the best part.

Esther turned 2 months old yesterday.  She is a growing girl.  She now weighs 10 lbs., 11.5 oz and is 22 inches long.  The dr. was very pleased with her growth.  Esther is starting to smile and coo.  She gets all excited and her arms and legs start moving.

Merry Christmas!

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. We thank the Lord that He sent His son to be born. What a humble birth! Born in a stable with a manger for His bed. As we look at little Esther we marvel that Jesus was once that size. He was born so that He could die. What wonderful love.

We had a great time with our family here for Christmas. Shaun’s parents and sister are here until after the new year. They all stayed the night and we spent Christmas morning together. We also were able to do a video chat with my parents in Michigan. They got to see Naomi open some of her presents. What fun we had. Naomi didn’t know what to think. As you look at the pictures notice her outfit. She started opening presents in her pj’s. Once she opened some clothes she wanted to put them on right away. Then she opened some black patent leather shoes and wanted them on. What a sight! A red sweatshirt, sweatpants, and dress shoes with no socks. Then she got some cute leather boots and wanted those on. What a girl! She likes her clothes and shoes almost as much as her toys.

We are so blessed, and we thank the Lord for all He has done.

Naomi in the snow.

We got some snow on Friday and we are supposed to get some more tonight. I’m so glad, we will have a white Christmas.

Aunt Amy took Naomi out to play in the snow on Saturday. We bundled her all up in coat, hat, mittens, snow pants, and boots. She could barely walk. She looked so cute. Here are some pictures of her in the snow.

Ready to go!What is this stuff?Having fun!

Naomi got a little gift from her soon to be Sunday School teacher. It was a bag filled with candy, a pencil, a small container of Play-Doh, (which I haven’t let her play with yet), and a pair of sunglasses. The sunglasses are the best. She loves playing with them.

Look at my new sunglasses.
