Here are some more pictures.  I caught Esther’s sweet smile, and had to share it.  I also was able to put Naomi’s hair in braids.  I love little girls in braids.  Her hair isn’t quite long enough for full braids, but I did the best I could.  She actually sit still! (For the braids, not the pictures.)

Today when we got back from the grocery store Naomi was carrying around the toilet paper. It’s almost as big as her. I thought it was cute and had the share these pictures. While I was taking pictures of Esther, Naomi wanted her picture taken also. She was being very silly.

Our little Esther is 3 months old. The first 2 months of her life went really fast to me. This last month has been more normal. I think we have finally figured each other out. Esther is on a good schedule and she is sleeping through the night. Yeah! She is smiling and cooing a lot more. Esther is not very patient and lets you know by screaming at the top of her lungs when she is not happy. It’s taken some getting used to. Naomi was a very patient and laid back baby. The Lord is good and we are greatly enjoying our girls.

Every morning I put Naomi down for some quiet/alone time. I put her in her crib with toys and books. She sings and plays for about an hour and sometimes falls asleep. This morning she really needed a little nap so I left her in her crib a little longer. She started wailing, so I went to peek at her. She was fine, and laying down. After some more wailing she fell asleep for about 20 min. When I went to get her she gave me a hug and then started complaining and pulling on her sleeper. Upon further investigation I found that she had put all her ABC blocks down her sleeper. There were three down one leg, three down another leg, and eight trapped in her onesie. I could not stop laughing. No wonder she was wailing.

Happy New Year! What did you do to welcome in the new year? We did a kitchen project. Shaun and his dad put new counter tops in our kitchen, and replaced all the cabinet/drawer handles. What a wonderful blessing. My counter tops were pink, or rose. Shaun liked to say they were salmon colored. Anyway, not to my liking. Shaun picked out a laminate counter that was smoky topaz in color. It looks great and they did a great job. Here are some before and after pictures.
